The Uber Technical Program Management (TPM) team plays a critical role executing high-impact company-wide initiatives and continuously improving process to increase the effectiveness of our product and engineering organizations. We work with the engineering organization while partnering with Product, Platform, Data Science, Operations, and others across Uber to drive programs and initiatives to be successful.
Uber’s massive Next Generation Money Platform is a complex ecommerce platform enabling payments and disbursements to partners, vendors, clients, third party mobility solutions, and more. We work with currencies, regulations, and payment workflows of over 90 countries. We are focusing on integrating new lines of business Eats, Rush, Freight, Driver, Pool, eBikes, and more, onboarding all services to this new state of the art platform and developing new features for our customers and to scale Uber Money Platform to next level.
The TPM for this role will wear multiple hats, including but not limited to ensuring driving a vision for an industry leading platform across Uber, hardening mission critical reliability and stability, and improving execution velocity of large product initiatives. This role is highly cross functional, and this TPM will be equally adept at whiteboarding design with engineers as they would be working alongside business folks to understand current pain points, or product managers across the company. Through these interactions, they will bring user empathy into the product roadmap and day to day prioritization and execution of the engineering team.
