Since Uber’s magic of “push a button and get a ride” launched 6 years ago, people have valued the ability to access rides on-demand through our app. But we’ve also heard from our riders that sometimes they want to arrange a pickup in advance so they can rest assured that an Uber will be available when they need it.
We totally get it. Whether you’re catching an early morning flight, going to an appointment, or planning the perfect date, you’ll have one less thing to worry about. With just a few taps on your app, you can now schedule your ride 15 minutes to 30 days in advance and have the comfort of knowing your Uber will be there when it’s time to head out.
What are the vehicle options available for scheduled rides?
You can schedule rides for uberX, UberBLACK and 7-seaters.
How is it charged?
Scheduled Rides are priced exactly like a normal Uber ride, and are subject to pricing – based on demand – at the time the ride is scheduled for. Remember to adjust your mobile settings to enable push notification, so that you won’t be missed out on any changes to your ride!
Am I guaranteed to get a ride?
Uber actively monitors availability to ensure that a car will arrive during the period you schedule a ride, but does not guarantee your scheduled ride. In the rare case a car cannot be found, you’ll be notified immediately.
What are the locations available for scheduled rides?
You can schedule rides to anywhere in Macau. However, schedule ride from the Macau International Airport, Border Gate, Macau Taipa Ferry Terminal and Outer Harbour Ferry Terminal are currently unavailable.
Can I make changes to the scheduled ride?
Of course. You may edit or cancel the plan before the ride begins. However, canceling your scheduled ride 5 minutes after your driver has set off will result in our standard cancellation fee (MOP20). Read more about our cancellation policy.
