About the Role


In this role you will be responsible for bringing structure to the entity and help improve our maturity as an operating function. A structured thinker capable of bridging interpersonal relationships, complex business and legal requirements, with a talent for high-level strategic thinking, will be a good fit for this role.

What yo'll do


  • Operating Model: Continuously improve how UPBV operates within the context of the Uber group. Structure Uber group cross-functional dependencies for UPBV through the operating model you will further develop. Further evolve roles & responsibilities, governance, SLAs, and KPIs
  • Operating Performance: Track and coordinate Uber group cross-functional dependencies for UPBV, monitoring and reporting on Uber group operating performance
  • Products: Coordinate translation and communication of UPBV product requirements (e.g. regulatory, policy, operational) to Uber group stakeholders. Track relevant Uber group product roadmaps against UPBV requirements. Represent UPBV to Uber group Product management.
  • Management Reporting: Develop, operationalise, and refine the management reporting framework for the UPBV Management Board and Supervisory Board.
  • Corporate Governance: Help maintain the corporate governance structure by providing assistance to UPBV’s board in preparation for and during Board meetings.
  • Cross-functional Reporting: Provide regular cadence of communication to Uber group cross-functional stakeholders.


What you’ll need


  • Minimum 8 years professional experience
  • History of managing complex cross-functional and technical projects
  • Experience interacting across various organisational levels  from junior analyst to CFO you are able to adjust your messaging and hold your own.
  • Fluent in English
  • Bachelor's degree required


Bonus Points


  • Masters degree 
  • Experience in banking, fintech, payments, or tech startups is preferred
