As a member of the Procure to Pay team, reporting to the Procurement Process Excellence Manager, you will be responsible for leading the development, maintenance, and improvement initiatives for all procurement related systems & processes supporting the Direct side of the business (New Mobility and ATG), while forming strong partnerships with internal departments to understand their needs, address pain points to drive on time payments and ensure an overall positive customer experience.

  • New Mobility Team: Uber revolutionized urban transportation, but we have no intention to stop there. New Mobility, also known as "NeMo" is a new org with the mandate to build and scale the next set of mobility businesses that will help Uber evolve into a multi-modal platform. NeMo's scope includes electric bikes, electric scooters, public transit, mopeds, and more. As a high-growth "startup org" within Uber, NeMo is fast-paced, constantly evolving, and highly rewarding.
  • Advanced Technologies Group: At the Advanced Technologies Group (ATG), we are building technologies that will transform the way the world moves. Our teams in Pittsburgh, San Francisco, and Toronto are dedicated to mapping, software and hardware development, vehicle safety, and operations for self-driving technology. Our teams are passionate about developing a self-driving system that will one day move peopleand things around more safely, efficiently, and cost effectively.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead and/or support continuous process improvement (Direct Procurement) projects to drive efficiencies that will scale to meet Uber’s growing global business needs
  • Lead and/or support process automation opportunities as appropriate, serving as the liaison between the Direct business and the Remote Process Automation (RPA) team.
  • Support the implementation of future business lines
  • Provide support in the rollout of Procurement tools and Procurement tool enhancements (Oracle/uSurv/Coupa) including UAT activities
  • Support the development, implementation and maintenance of the Oracle PR approvals process
  • Contribute to the Procurement governance playbook
  • Ensure uProcure (Oracle) PO Documents are standardized and aligned with Coupa PO documents.  Point of contact for uProcure (Oracle) PO documents
  • Responsible for creating and maintaining content on Uber’s internal website (Teamdot) related to Direct Procurement
  • Analyze spend, identify catalog opportunities for Direct business and project manage catalog implementation
  • Evaluate current Direct Procurement processes, document and archive processes and ensure processes are in compliance with policy
  • Procurement escalation point of contact for Direct part of the business
  • Support internal audit and compliance efforts to ensure integrity of Direct Procurement controls
  • Partner with Fintech to avoid oversubscription of Oracle licenses
  • Responsible for leading all change management activities related to updates in procurement processes
  • Support OTD reporting for Direct procurement

  • Ability to work in fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • 5+ years experience in Procure-to-Pay
  • Office Applications (Excel, Powerpoint, Word)
  • Experience with ERP Systems and e-Procurement Tools
  • Bachelor's degree (Business Administration, Supply Chain)
