About the Role
Lead the LatAm Central Operations Driver Access team, focused on everything related to getting drivers safely, in compliance and efficiently on the road.
What You’ll Do
Manage the team that designs and manages processes related to Driver Onboarding, Compliance, Driver Documents, Background Checks, Winback, New Channels, and more
Be the counterpart to the Product Access team, acting as a leader to help define the Access product strategy for the globe
Work closely with the territory teams of Latin America to understand local Driver Access problems that need regional solutions
Make the onboarding experience for drivers as safe and as amazing as it can be
What You’ll Need
BA/BS/Masters in Economics, Business, Engineering, or other quantitative focus
A motivating leader with 5+ years of experience building and leading high-performing teams
Minimum of 5 years of deep, hands-on management of functions that included combinations of the following: operations, growth, operational safety, operation compliance/management.
Data-driven decision mentality and sound business judgment through excellent analytical thinking and experimentation; knowledge of SQL is encouraged but not required.
Creative solutions-driven mindset, with an anything is possible attitude. An innate ability to think strategically
Self-starter mindset and determination
Passion for Uber's mission, our customers, and an evangelist for our brand
A collaborative partner who can bring together people of various backgrounds, skill sets, and areas of expertise to drive decisions and output
Strong communication and comfort sharing information formally or informally with senior audiences
This role will be based in Mexico City or Sao Paulo with a preference for Mexico City
