Moto: get set, go!

Moto gives riders an affordable and convenient motorcycle ride at the tap of a button, through the Uber app. Riders receive driver and bike details just as they do for other Uber trips, as well as all standard safety features before, during, and after the ride. That includes requisite insurance coverage that covers the riders, GPS tracking, 2-way feedback, and the ability to share trip details with family and friends.

Moto is one of the most affordable transportation options in the city, with fares as low as ₹ 25 for the first 3 kilometers and ₹ 5 per kilometer thereafter, rounded up to the nearest kilometer. Time charges won’t be applicable on Moto.

How Moto works

  1. Download the Uber app for iOS or Android and create an Uber account; existing users can update their app to see the new product
  2. Select Moto in the app, enter the pickup location and payment method, and request a ride, then receive driver details like name, photo, and information about the motorbike
  3. Moto drivers will have one helmet for the rider, and all riders and drivers must wear a helmet, as required by law
  4. At the end of the trip, pay by cash, credit/debit card, or mobile wallet and receive an electronic receipt through the Uber app

Coverage area

Moto is available from 8am to 10pm every day in parts of Kondapur, Hitech City, Madhapur, and Gachibowli. We will endeavour to expand coverage across the city.
