About the Role
The Uber Freight business is growing rapidly, and is expanding internationally for the first time. The freight industry in the European Union has a unique set of strategic and operational challenges. It’s our vision at Uber Freight to transform the industry by creating an efficient, safe, and a high-quality experience for commercial shippers and carriers by matching freight loads through technology.
Our EU Account Managers assist with the development and growth of the initial customer network for the Uber Freight Europe marketplace. You are part of a team that partners with external clients and internal sales team to facilitate and execute daily operations, while anticipating challenges and presenting solutions to delight our Enterprise customers and support Uber Freight's business objectives. Account Managers are committed to exceptional service and continuous improvement. We are seeking candidates who are excited to help create a product with lasting value, have a desire to improve their operations acuity, and are passionate about changing the Logistics Industry abroad.

What You’ll Do
Develop process and system improvements to continually raise the bar of execution
Direct, manage and execute daily operations in support of our International customer base
Participate in the development, implementation and automation of critical business processes and tools used to track sales process, forecasting, pipeline management and performance
Work with customers to continually seek new solutions for their logistics challenges
Manage any issues that come up in the normal operation of freight movement
Be able to speak to core operational and growth metrics with the management team
Serve as a partner to our sales team anticipating challenges and presenting solutions to support Uber Freight's business objectives
What You’ll Need
An undergraduate degree or 2+ years of equivalent experience in a professional experience focused on process and operational improvement
Onboard and develop customer accounts
Demonstrated ability to solve complex problems under pressure
Innovative mindset focused on doing things better, faster, more efficiently
Ability to collaborate and work with a highly diverse set of customers, transportation partners, and internal partners
Passion for the service needs of our customers and transportation partners
Analytical and critical thinking ability
Strong communication and organizational skills
The ability to balance attention to detail with swift execution - we need to do things quickly, and we need to do them well
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
Project management experience, coursework or certification a plus
