To say thank you for choosing Uber, we have introduced a driver incentive that gives you the chance to optimise your earnings each week.
When you complete 25 trips within a single week, your service fee is reduced to 10% on any subsequent trips in the same week. So you can earn a little more for going the extra mile.
How does it work?
Complete 25 trips and benefit
The week begins at 4am every Monday. Every trip completed after this time will count towards reaching the 25 trip threshold.
Hard work pays
Once the 25 trip threshold is reached, your service fee is reduced to 10% for the rest of the week.
Reset the clock
You will benefit from the reduced service fee until Monday at 3:59am. After this the trip count will reset and the standard service fee will be reapplied.

Frequently Asked Questions
- When does the reduced service fee apply?
Every Monday at 4:00AM, the trip counter resets to zero. You then need to complete 25 trips within a single week to activate the reduced service fee. Once you meet the trip threshold, your service fee drops to 10%, and you have until the following Monday at 3:59AM before the service fee resets.
- How do I know if I am eligible for this incentive?
All driver partners completing trips in Accra are eligible for the incentive. Driver partners found to be engaging in fraudulent activity will be disqualified from the incentive and run the risk of having their accounts blocked or deactivated in accordance with the Driver Terms.
- What trips are eligible for the incentive?
All completed trips in Accra will count towards the reduced service fee. Trips must be completed in UberX and UberSelect. Once the reduced service fee is applied, this will apply to all future trips for eligible products until the end of the week, unless otherwise stated.
- How can I track my trips?
You can find a weekly summary of all your trips, transactions, and earnings in the Partner App. For a fare breakdown of every trip head to the Weekly Earnings section on your Partner Dashboard.
- How will the service fee payment work?
The adjusted service fee will automatically appear in your receipts. The same holds true for cash trips. Please note that the surge multiplier still applies.
- What happens if I change fleet?
Fleet owner changes do not impact the count to activate the reduced service fee. If you switch fleet in the middle of the week there is no need to restart the trip counting.
