About the Role
As a US Claims Associate you will investigate, manage and submit claims for compensation that occur throughout the region in connection with the Uber app. You will also work in collaboration with our third-party insurance partners with a focus on prompt routing and escalation of claims. You will report to our Claims Lead in Phoenix, Arizona. Are you ready to Uber On?!

This is a 4x10 Friday - Monday weekend shift
What You’ll Do
Communicating with customers clearly, professionally, and empathetically via telephone and e-mail
Investigate and submit new claims by reviewing first reports of loss and supporting materials to determine the best initial contact; communicate with claimants, drivers, passengers, witnesses, etc.
Gathering and verifying loss information
Manage incoming claims documents
What You’ll Need
College degree preferred
1-2 years customer service experience. Insurance experience a plus
Effective written and verbal communication skills to provide information in a clear and concise manner and to communicate with a variety of individuals.
Extraordinary attention to detail
Ability to maintain quality in a fast-paced and pressured environment
Ability to learn and apply claims policies and procedures
About the Team
The Phoenix Claims team consists of approximately 30 claim professionals. Our Phoenix team works closely with the Claims team in San Francisco and throughout the globe to ensure operational excellence, quality claims management and the delivery of superior customer service.
