About the Role


Uber Eats is looking for a Senior Product Manager for Grocery. This role will help define, build and globally scale a brand new product offering which will fundamentally evolve how people purchase their groceries.

What You’ll Do


  • Help formulate our business, product and go-to-market strategy for grocery
  • Creatively experiment and quickly iterate on early tests
  • Work with a cross-functional organization to operate as an autonomous group moving at a fast-paced, startup environment
  • Customize and scale this offering across the world


What You’ll Need


  • A minimum of 6 years proven experience delivering successful and innovative customer-facing products with your fingerprints all over them
  • Entrepreneurial. You have built new products from scratch and grown them to global scale
  • An orientation towards building businesses, not features. Experience building and leading businesses, including ownership and optimization of business performance metrics.
  • Customer obsession. The ability to take on complex product challenges and find elegant, simplifying solutions to avoid making them our users and partner's problem
  • Technical savviness. Can manifest in different ways: a computer science degree, hands-on software engineering experience, or experiences building complex software products side by side with engineers. Technical understanding must go from the highest abstractions down to the metal.
  • Design sensibility. A deep understanding of and appreciation for good design and user experiences.
  • Finger-tippiness with data. You find a way to get the data you need and whip it into an insightful story with no help. You know how to leverage this data to make decisions without getting stuck in analysis paralysis
  • A high bar across the board -- from your own contributions, to the people you work with, to the products you work on.
  • “Driver” mindset. You are biased toward action, a great collaborator, a master disambiguator/simplifier, and constantly pushing toward clarity and delivery
  • Grittiness. You never hesitate to roll up your sleeves and tackle something hands-on
  • Experimental. You have a creative mindset that enjoys experimentation and is willing to take bold bets despite risk of failure
  • Foodie. You are passionate about food and evolving how the world eats

About the Team

This is a newly formed team whose focus is developing a new business segment within the Uber portfolio. The team will be based in Toronto, Canada.
