About the Role
The Account Executive, Carrier Sales on the FleetX team will act as the “tip of the spear” for the development, sale, and implementation of new freight offerings. The atmosphere is fast paced and collaborative. We emphasize improving processes, servicing our carrier and customer partners, and consulting on how we can leverage Uber’s world class technology to scale our developments.
What You’ll Do
Manage existing carrier partners with the best service
Bring new carriers onto the platform to increase active Uber Freight users and sell Uber freight offerings
Work with carriers to continually seek new solutions for their challenges
Actively manage the quality of our transportation partner base moving freight within our network
Ensure that all freight is moved on time and at a fair cost
Be dedicated to seeking out and solving freight related operational issues
Develop process and system improvements to continually raise the bar of execution
Be able to speak to core operational and growth metrics with the management team
Manage and resolve operational issues expeditiously
What You’ll Need
Minimum of 1 year sales and logistics operations experience
Bachelor's degree strongly preferred
Strong communication and organization skills
Demonstrated ability to solve complex problems under pressure
Ability to collaborate and work with a highly diverse set of shippers, transportation partners, and internal stakeholders
Analytical and critical thinking ability
The ability to balance attention to detail with swift execution - we need to do things quickly, and we need to do them well
