About The Role:
We are looking for an experienced manager to lead a team of Product Analysts responsible for projects across the Growth and Experience pillars of the NeMo team, which includes our Bikes and Scooters products. These projects revolve around running experiments, optimizing the user experience of using NeMo products, maximizing the value of external partnerships/integrations, cross-selling NeMo products to our existing user base, deeply understanding NeMo's impact on the core rides business, defining methods to segment users, understanding NeMo's impact on LTV, and evaluating performance of new hardware and software rollouts.
The leader in this role needs to know how to use the right tool for each problem they're trying to solve--given the early-stage nature of the NeMo team, we must evaluate tradeoffs in different approaches and guide the team towards the right one for each situation. This leader must also have solid foundations in analyzing data, relating it to business problems, and communicating results and recommendations with a broad range of audiences (especially Product Managers), as well as in leading a team of Data Scientists who can effectively do the same. This role will be highly impactful and visible, offering frequent interaction with senior executives in numerous parts of Uber.
What You’ll Do
Partner closely with Product, Engineering, Product Analytics, and other technical and business teams to develop Uber’s NeMo products
Hire and lead a team of between 5-10 Product Analysts
Provide thought leadership in building the product roadmap, and steer projects from ideas to execution
Work with cross-functional stakeholders to prioritize both proactive longer-term projects as well as reactive shorter-term inbound requests
Guide the team as they create and interpret data sets, conduct and analyze experiments, build robust models for analyzing user behavior and maximizing growth, and develop machine learning models to improve product performance.
Provide a fun and collaborative work environment that fosters innovation
Present findings to senior management to drive business decisions
