How does Uber Reserve work?
Request a ride up to 90 days in advance at any time of the day. Make sure to book a Reserve trip more than two hours prior to your departure to access the full benefits of the trip.
To book a Reserve trip, go to the Uber app on your mobile device and:
- Select Reserve on the home page in the app
- Enter your trip information and select your ride of choice
- Confirm your trip
To revisit your trip details prior to the trip, simply select Reserve on the home page in the app.

Your business ride in three easy steps
- Reserve: Tap the Reserve icon in your updated Uber app. Reserve your ride at least 2 hours in advance.
- Receive confirmation: Reference your reservation details in the app and review your driver as your business trip nears. Cancel at no charge up to one hour in advance.**
- Ride: Meet your driver outside within the wait time included in your reservation and enjoy the ride!

Uber doesn’t guarantee that a driver will accept your ride request. Your ride is confirmed once you receive your driver details.
**Reserve trips made in advance are subject to a cancellation fee. You can cancel at no charge up to 60 minutes before your reservation pick-up time. Your driver is making their way to you ahead of your pick-up time. If you cancel less than 60 minutes before your reservation, you’ll be charged the cancellation fee for your driver’s time. You will not be charged a cancellation fee if no driver has confirmed your trip yet. You will receive a notification when your driver is en route. The MIN FARE amount is available in the Fare Breakdown page after you select your product.
