Quest is Uber’s new programme that allows you to unlock a lower service fee and keep more of the trip fare, giving you better control over how you use the Uber app.

For every Quest, there are a certain number of trips that you need to complete. Once you hit that target, whether it’s on the first, second or third day, you’ll automatically switch to a lower service fee for every other trip you take until the end of the Quest period. It’s that simple. 

And then, when the Quest ends, your service fee will revert back to the regular amount.

How does Service Fee Quest work?

Designed with flexibility in mind, you’ll be offered Quests every week.

Each Quest has two options to choose from, so if you want to take part, you can decide which works best for you. They’ve been designed so that drivers with different schedules can all benefit from the programme.

  In your Uber driver app:

  1. Go to your Promotions tab
  2. Find the most recent Quest 
  3. Choose the Quest that best fits your weekday or weekend driving schedule

  No, you have the entire period of the Quest to hit your trip threshold to benefit from the lower service fee.

  Each week you will receive a new Quest. You’ll need to select each Quest before the selection period ends to take advantage of lower service fees. If you don’t choose a Quest before it expires, you won’t be eligible to have service fees lowered on your trips during that period.

  This offer is only for drivers who directly received the offer from Uber. This Quest promotion applies to completed trips on all Uber products. Trips eligible for a discounted service fee must be completed within locations specified within the app. Please check promotion details in the app for more information on offer restrictions. The Quest promotions may differ week on week. The Quest promotion is only applicable to the recipient of the email.

  If you work with a Fleet Partner and make use of the promo, then your Fleet Partner’s Service Fee for your eligible trips will be lower. Uber does not have insight into your arrangements with your Fleet Partner, in particular, to what extent exactly you can benefit from the lower Service Fee for your eligible trips.

  It’s entirely up to you whether you would like to participate in this promotion. Drivers that don’t opt-in to a Quest will continue to receive trips with the regular service fee.  

  We would also like to let you know that you’re not required to complete any minimum number of trips, and there is no issue if you sign up for a Quest but don’t complete it for any reason.
