Starting today, April 12, we are changing the name of the option UberPop to UberX in Prague.
Apart from the name, nothing changes.
Uber tariffs, driver-partners’ and vehicles requirements, app features – all remain the same.
This change helps us build consistent naming across all countries where Uber is available . The new name also better reflects our new approach. We have changed the way we do business across the world, including Prague, where we are partnering with cities and only licensed drivers can join the Uber app.
From now on the new name UberX will be visible in the product menu of the Uber app.
