About the Role
The Strategy & Operations Intern is an analytical role that provides a unique opportunity to drive growth through the analysis of data and strategic thinking, aiming to improve supply productivity and efficiency in a business-side team for our Rides business. This intern will work with the local Rio de Janeiro team to take on major cities across the state of Rio de Janeiro, as well as contribute on regional projects in a high-growth environment. As of this person will have responsibility for the growth of our business and key relationships.
What You’ll Do
Analytics: utilize driver data to understand driver behavior and areas for improvement in our driver communication, sign-up and incentive programs
Process optimization: take big picture ideas and break them into actionable steps with progressive timelines for completion
Product Improvement: diligently search for bugs or new features which could improve a seamless driver and rider experience
Partner Relations: manage driver relationships, identify and take on problem areas for drivers
Driver Support: manage the day-to-day issues of thousands of drivers on our system
What You’ll Need
Be enrolled in a university degree with a graduation date between December 2020 and July 2021
Language skills should include Portuguese (fluent) and English (Intermediate or above)
Availability for Rio de Janeiro
Data driven decision-making ability and sound business judgment through analytical thinking
