You heard the news: a court order was issued to suspend uberPOP in Brussels. It’s obviously disappointing news as you and tens of thousands of people relied on uberPOP to get around the city in a safe, affordable and friendly way. It also helped hundreds of drivers to earn a better living and support their families.

But there is a way forward. In February, Minister-President Rudi Vervoort and the Brussels government announced reforms that will create more choice for riders and more opportunities for drivers. Sadly, seven months laters, those reforms are now stuck because of opposition from vested interests who want to restrict competition so prices stay high.

If you want to be able to rely on the Uber you know and love today, say NO to outdated legislation and YES to progress! Call on the government to reform today’s legislation by sharing our open letter on social media:
