Uber for Business has joined forces with the Flight Centre Travel Group to deliver Australia’s first enhanced ground travel experience for corporate travellers.
With this partnership, business customers can benefit from a seamless travel experience with Uber for Business fully integrated into the customer’s expense management, finance and duty of care systems.
The integration with Flight Centre Travel Group makes it even easier for businesses to have transparency and control over their employees’ ground transportation spend, while delivering a better employee experience.
The Global head of Uber for Business, Ronnie Gurion, said “Australian business travellers love the magic and simplicity of Uber. Our partnership with the Flight Centre Travel Group brings that experience directly to their customers, with analytics and policy controls to complement our unique user experience.”
Uber for Business marked its fifth year of operations in August 2019.
“Back in February 2014, a small team was formed to incubate a potential B2B business and by August of that same year we were rolling out our first product integration with Concur,” Ronnie Gurion said.
Uber for Business helps finance, admin and travel managers within corporate and government better manage their employee and customer travel on Uber.
Increased transparency, control and reporting is why thousands of corporate and government customers in Australia and New Zealand, and over 65,000 globally, use Uber for Business.
“As the largest travel provider in Australia, we’re excited by the value this partnership brings to the Flight Centre Travel Group and our mutual customers,” said Ronnie Gurion.
