Australian favourite Grill’d has announced the special release of their limited edition Demogorgon Burger landing in time to commemorate the hotly anticipated Australian premiere of the penultimate season of Stranger Things on Netflix.

Available until June 16 the burger features a grass-fed Australian beef pattie, roasted peppers, dill pickles, cos lettuce and is smothered in backyard burger sauce and sour cream. And to give it extra bite, a dangerously delicious buffalo dipping sauce. It’s a mouthwatering feast for the senses.

Visitors to the Grill’d Galleries restaurant in Sydney have also had a chance to feast their eyes on a visual device from the award-winning Netflix show with the Rift – a portal to the upside down – transporting patrons into a visually spectacular nod to the program.

The spectacular backdrop was also visited by familiar looking characters from Stranger Things, riding along on their bikes outside the store but with the surprise addition of Uber Eats bags. While the famous cast won’t be delivering the Demogorgon burger, Uber Eats will be the only on demand food delivery app where Australians will be able to track down the delicious limited edition burger available exclusively from Grill’d.

Director of Restaurants, Uber Eats ANZ, Duncan Petit – “We’re delighted to help more Australians attempt to defeat this monster Burger from Grill’d in the comfort of their own homes. I am sure there will be lots of Aussies lining up to sync their viewing with their eating this weekend. By ordering on Uber Eats they won’t miss a second of the action emanating from Netflix.”

Chief Marketing Officer, Grill’d Ben Goss says – “Every Grill’d burger is made using the freshest all natural ingredients so I guarantee you’ll be rating this Demogorgon burger an eleven out of ten. Netflix and Grill’d partnering on this phenomenal series has been a monster journey. The best way to immerse yourself in the new season is by defeating your very own Demogorgon, alongside the gang from Hawkins.”

Head of Marketing Partnerships, Netflix ANZ – “Stranger Things is a global phenomenon which continues to entertain people of all ages. Netflix is thrilled to celebrate the fandom of Stranger Things with Grill’d in Australia. What better way to mark the new season premiere with the release of this epic Demogorgon Burger.”

The Demogorgon Burger is available for a limited time and exclusively from Grill’d restaurants Australia wide and on Uber Eats while Stranger Things 4 Vol. 1 premieres Friday 27 May, 5pm AEST only on Netflix.
