What’s new in Uber Eats? December 2021

December 22, 2021 / Australia

Here’s the December product round-up.

Launch 1

Helping to improve order accuracy

We know you care about the accuracy of your orders, and so do we! We are excited to release a new feature in Uber Eats Orders that notifies you to double-check those large and complex orders.

Here’s what we’ve done:

A notification when you open the order, reminding you to double-check it.

A banner on the Order Details screen to remind you to check the order before handing it over to the delivery person.

As long as you have item level special instructions enabled, these reminders will also be inserted into your POS terminal and will be viewable on your display.

Launch 2

Sign in made simple

Having trouble logging in to your Uber Eats Manager account? Are you hitting the Forgot password link too often? Save yourself some time and hassle by linking your Gmail account, so you can log in to Uber Eats Manager with two clicks!

Here’s how it works:

Link your Gmail:

Step 1: Open the Uber Eats Manager login page and click Continue with Google

Step 2: Enter your Gmail address and Gmail password.

Next time you sign in to Uber Eats Manager, your Gmail account will be recognised and you’ll be able to log in with just a couple of clicks!

Note: You will not be able to execute the above unless you have linked your Gmail account with Uber Eats Manager. If your Gmail is not linked to Uber Eats Manager, follow the steps below:

Link your Gmail to Uber Eats Manager:

Step 1: Log in to Uber Eats Manager using your non-Gmail account.

Step 2: Once you’ve logged in, scroll down and click Users.

Step 3: Click + Add user, which is located on the right-hand side of the screen.

Step 4: Enter your first name, surname and Gmail account.

Step 5: Sign in to your Gmail account; open the Uber Eats Manager invitation email and follow the link within the email to finalise the set-up.

Step 6: You will now be able to log in to Uber Eats Manager using Google instead of entering your username and password.
