Enter promo code MCEXPODUBAI, and you will automatically get 2 discounted trips (20% off 2 Uber rides up to AED14 each) to and from the Expo 2020, when you use Mastercard® as a payment method.
Pickups and Dropoffs
The Expo 2020 site is organized into 3 pavilions; Sustainability, Mobility and Opportunity – where visitors can be picked up and dropped off.
You can be directed to the Uber dedicated pick up and drop off lanes either through the Uber app wayfinding instructions or via the on ground Uber signage available at the venue.
Pin Dispatch
A new ride request and pickup process is available at the Expo only, for Uber Select. To request a trip, simply follow these instructions upon arrival at one of the Uber dedicated pick-up lanes at the Expo 2020 pavilions, noting that pick-ups at the Expo will be different than usual over the Uber App, as follows:
- Open the Uber App, add your dropoff location
- Choose a pickup spot
- Wait for a PIN code to be generated
- A PIN code will be visible on the Uber App. The pickup lane is on a first come first serve basis, so wait for your turn at the designated spot
- Once it’s your turn, provide the PIN code to the driver. He will add your PIN to his Uber App and if the code matches the code on his Uber App, you’re ready to ride. Remember to verify your driver and vehicle details
- This new feature is available only at the Expo 2020 site, and only for Uber Select

While on the road in Dubai, keep these tips in mind:
- Wear face coverings or masks at all times, as required by the local regulatory authorities
- Let friends and family know where you are at all times by using the share trip feature
- Confirm your driver’s name and vehicle to ensure you are getting in the right vehicle
- Your feedback matters, so remember to rate your drivers.
This offer is based on limited availability. To be eligible for a chance to receive discounts on 2 trips to and from the Expo, users need to add the code MCEXPODUBAI (when in the UAE) into their Uber app account (please note that the code has no discount value).
To visit Expo, open the Uber app and request a ride using your Mastercard® as the payment method. If there is availability, you will automatically get 2 discounted trips to and from the Expo with a cap of 14 AED per trip. You will be sent communications from Uber notifying you of your discount. Once the discount is applied for the first trip to or from Expo, the discount for the second trip will be added to your account automatically. You will be able to take a second discounted trip to or from Expo within two weeks.
The offer expires at 23.59 pm on March, 31st 2022. Taxes and fees still apply. This offer cannot be combined with other offers. This offer is applicable for all Mastercard® credit and debit cardholders. The offer can only be redeemed in the UAE.
