UberRECYCLE: The easiest way to do your part this World Environment Day

Did you know 80% of e-waste is not recycled? Let’s change that this World Environment Day! We’ve teamed up with Dubai Internet City, Dubai Media City, Dubai Science Park and Averda to collect and safely recycle your used and unwanted electronics at the tap of a button.
Last year, we collected 2 tonnes of e-waste. This year, we’re aiming to exceed that! Help us reach our goal to keep e-waste out of Dubai landfills. Just gather your gadgets, request from a participating business park and let us take it from there–for FREE!
Details:
On June 20, 21 and 24 between 10am and 4pm, request ‘UberRECYCLE’ in your app and one of our partner-drivers will head your way to collect your e-waste. Please note that pick-ups will be limited to participating business parks.
How it works:
- Prepare all items you want to recycle
- If you’re located in one of the business parks, open or download the Uber app and request ‘UberRECYCLE’
- A partner-driver will head your way to pick up your items for FREE
- Items collected will be safely recycled by Averda

- Must fit in the trunk or backseat of a standard sedan
