Highest earnings between 12am and 3am
NYE falls on a Saturday this year, and we expect demand to be way higher than normal weekend demand. Last New Year's Eve, partners earned on average $35 per hour,* and we’re expecting this year to be huge as well!
Requests are expected to begin to pick up around 5pm and reach a small peak around 9pm. The big peak in requests hits as soon as the ball drops, immediately following midnight.
Pro tips from partners like you
"People are celebrating and having a good time, so keep the conversation light and funny."
"Know your surroundings and make sure you drop off riders in safe areas. It's the little things you do for people that they appreciate."
"Always ask your rider to confirm the address where they’re going."
Demand highest in Downtown and South Side
Before midnight, requests are expected to be highest in the Downtown, Strip, Southside, and Shadyside neighborhoods, beginning around 5pm.
After midnight, requests are expected to peak immediately after the ball drops at 12:00 am in the North Shore, Downtown, Strip and Southside neighborhoods. Above average ride requests are expected to continue until around 3am.
