CMA Music Fest

Instructions for drivers

Country music takes over downtown Nashville from June 8-11, with locals and tourists alike attending live performances, concerts, and meet and greets at pop-up stages and venues like Nissan Stadium. Get the details on our pickup/drop-off zones, when and where to drive, and more below.

When and where to drive

During CMA Fest, live performances take place all over downtown Nashville starting as early as 9:30am, while Nissan Stadium hosts top country talent every night at 8pm. Plus, the Budweiser Dome pop-up on McGavock St and 8th Ave will house free daily immersive musical experiences for country music fans.

To take advantage of the most trip requests, take a look at the complete event schedule and read our pro tips and list of road closures below.

Pro tips

  • Go online before the shows begin everywhere around town—riders will be requesting rides to downtown from all over Nashville
  • Take a break: It's important to recharge, and a good time to do that is after the halfway point in the night shows
  • Go online at least 20-30 minutes before the end of the final performance—some riders will leave early and will need a safe ride
  • Drive late-night: Riders will be requesting downtown until around 3:30am
  • Please do not block traffic during loading & unloading passengers—use the designated pickup/drop-off areas when possible
  • Call your rider to coordinate pickups—lots of riders are from out of town and unfamiliar with Nashville

Road closures

  • 1st Ave from Church St to Korean Vets
  • Broadway from 1st Ave to 2nd Ave
  • 5th Ave from Demonbreun to Broadway
  • Demonbreun between 4th and 6th

Picking up and dropping off

Nissan Stadium

Lots of riders will request rides to Nissan Stadium in the evening as performances by top acts kick off around 8pm. Luckily, we have a designated lot located at S 1st St to make picking up and dropping off riders as smooth as possible. Once you enter the lot, consider calling or texting your rider to let them know your exact location.

Note: You will be required to show trade dress to gain entry to the Nissan Stadium pickup/drop-off lot.

Note: Drivers can no longer pick up or drop off riders on Woodland. To pick up or drop off riders, please head to the lot at S 1st St.

To access the pickup/drop-off lot from I-24 West:

  • Use the right lane to take exit 49 toward Korean Vets Blvd/Shelby Ave/Nissan Stadium
  • Turn right onto Summer Pl
  • Turn right onto S 5th St, then take another right onto Davidson St
  • Davidson St turns into S 1st St, then take a right into Lot T

Note: There will be Uber signage by the lot so you'll know where to go, and once you arrive at the lot, there will be security directing you where to go.

Picking up and dropping off

Budweiser Dome

For riders headed to or from the Budweiser Dome or Music City Center, please use our pickup/drop-off lot located at McGavock St and 8th Ave.

You must enter the lot from either direction on Demonbreun St, then you'll be directed through the one-way lot to drop off or pick up your rider. Once you enter the lot, consider calling or texting your rider to let them know your exact location.

After you pick up or drop off your rider, exit the lot onto McGavock St.

Picking up and dropping off

Downtown

Downtown Nashville will be packed, and due to pedestrian traffic, certain roads will be closed. The points highlighted in this map, though, show city-approved pickup/drop-off points downtown.

Since streets will be crowded, once you reach your pickup point, consider calling or texting your rider to let them know your exact location.
