Protect your personal information

We want to alert you about phishing scams that could put your personal info at risk. Please be aware of the following:

  • You should never need to provide your Uber account info by phone or email. This includes your email address, phone number, password, and banking details
    • There have been isolated cases of scammers calling drivers after they've accepted a trip request. Again, you should never provide your login username/password nor should you ever update your banking information to someone else's banking details.
  • Phishing websites may appear identical to Uber's login page in an attempt to trick users. Authentic Uber websites will always begin with the following:

      https://www.uber.com
      https://login.uber.com
      https://help.uber.com
      https://auth.uber.com
