Michael

Danbury Elks

Michael submitted an application to support Danbury Elks, a fraternal order that “promotes and practices Charity, Justice, and Brotherly Love; promotes the welfare and enhances the happiness of its members; and quickens the spirit of American Patriotism and cultivates good fellowship.”

What the organization does:

“Danbury Elks has been supporting our area for many years, and we would like to continue supporting our children and veterans in our area. Without funding from organizations like Uber, we would not be able to continue our mission.”

Why this organization matters to Michael:

“This organization cares for our children in our neighborhoods, as well as the veterans. There is no better asset than our children. Our children are the future, so the better we can help them, the better off the future will be. And we can never forget our veterans who were there for us—to protect us our children and the United States of America. That is why the Danbury Elks is a very important organization to me."
