Game Day Guide
This Saturday at noon, Ohio State will face Michigan in the most anticipated game of the season. Get ready for one of the busiest days of the year with our maps, charts, and pro tips below on how to navigate the Game Day traffic and score big in earnings. O-H!
Best Times to Drive
Expect increased rider requests starting at 7am as fans look to head to campus ahead of the game at 12pm. We anticipate demand to peak at 4pm through the evening as the game ends and riders move to their next destination.
The chart to the left shows demand during the last OSU vs. Michigan game in Columbus versus a normal home game.
Best Places to Drive
Tailgate Rush Hours Before Games
In addition to high demand on campus and downtown, expect long trips from Northwest Columbus, specifically the areas Grandview, Upper Arlington, Dublin, and Worthington.
End of Game
Unlike the tailgate rush, mostly all of the requests come from OSU's campus and the downtown/Short North area, as riders head home after going to or watching the game.
Game Day Pick-ups and Drop-offs
We recommend using 1787 Neil Ave. as your drop-off location. This directs you to John H. Herrick Drive, where you can drop off your rider then follow Neil Ave to exit.
- The best route to access the drop-off/pick-up zone is via King Ave to Cannon Drive.
- Be aware that there will be rolling closures of 315 throughout the day so partners will not be able to access campus via 315.
