180 Days of Change
Improving your experience
Since we last saw you, we've made some major improvements, keeping the Driver Experience top-of-mind. Starting at the beginning of the summer we've made improvements to Earnings, Support Enhancements, Flexibility, and uberPOOL.
Long trip notifications
Now you’ll get a heads-up when a trip is estimated to be 45 minutes or longer, so you have the info you need to choose the trips that work for you.
It's a great time to drive
1. Students are back
Fall in New England means tens of thousands of students are back, leading to more trips and more earnings opportunities
2. Fall sports
The New England Patriots season is in full swing, the Boston Celtics and Boston Bruins are back—this means fans from all over will be requesting rides to the big games.
3. Concerts and conferences
It's a beautiful time to be in New England, this means that more concerts and conferences will bring riders from all over New England and more trips to and from the airport.
When & where to drive
Earning with Uber is easy and fits around your schedule. With that in mind, there are a few things to keep in mind:
- Watch for promotions in your Uber Driver app
- Each week we send a Partner Weekly newsletter with big events in the city
- The Driver app will show you areas of high demand and surge, consider driving to these areas to earn more
Example of demand during an average summer week vs. a week of high demand in the fall
