Monday, July 3
Independence Day events are still taking place throughout the city and road closures begin. Expect higher demand in the evening after Boston POPS at the Hatch Shell (8:30pm).
- Road Closures
- Storrow Drive westbound will close early in the morning
- Storrow Drive eastbound will close in the afternoon
- Exit to Arlington Street from the Storrow Tunnel (eastbound) will be closed
- Mugar Way at Beacon Street
- Berkeley Street at Beacon Street
Tuesday, July 4
Expect the afternoon and evening to be busy as people head to the Charles for the fireworks. Check the map below for information on road closures.

Road Closures
Beginning Monday, July 3, there will begin to be major road closures in Boston through the morning of Wednesday, July 5.
Some of the major road closures include:
- Memorial Drive from Lonfellow Bridge to BU Bridge
- Storrow Drive from Kenmore to Longfellow Bridge
- Berkeley Street at Beacon Street
- Massachusetts Avenue Bridge
- Longfellow Bridge
- Massachusetts Avenue from Beacon to Vassar
