Member Days PayPal Sweepstakes T&Cs

The sweepstake is organized as part of the Uber Member Days in cooperation with PayPal (Europe) S.à r.l. et Cie, S.C.A and ends on May 24, 2026, at 11:59 PM (CEST). Eligible participants are natural persons aged 18 or older who reside in Germany. To be eligible to receive the prize, participants must hold a valid PayPal account in good standing at the time of claiming. A PayPal account that is locked, closed, or restricted will not be eligible to receive the prize.

Participation in the sweepstake is automatic upon completion of an eligible booking during the promotional period from May 11, 2026, through May 24, 2026, inclusive, or alternatively through free participation in accordance with the terms and conditions below.

To participate free of charge, participants must click on the dedicated sweepstakes participation entry point on the Perks page during the promotional period and select the “Enter the raffle” button. Successful submission through the “Enter the raffle” button will count as one entry into the sweepstakes.

Eligible bookings are:

• Uber rides, or
• Uber Eats orders

each with a minimum order value of 12€ (twelve Euro), that are completed via the Uber app during the campaign period and paid for using PayPal.

Each eligible booking counts as one entry into the sweepstake. Multiple entries per person are permitted.

After the end of the promotional period, one winning participant will be selected at random from all eligible participants. The winning participant will be notified by Uber using the contact details stored in their Uber account. The winner will then be required to contact PayPal directly, within 4 (four) weeks of notification by Uber, and provide PayPal with their full name and the email address associated with their PayPal account in order to claim the prize. PayPal contact details will be shared by Uber. PayPal will verify that the winner holds a valid PayPal account in good standing at the time of the claim. For the purposes of these terms, “good standing” means the winner’s account is not locked, closed, restricted, or otherwise in breach of the PayPal User Agreement. The prize will only be credited to the winner’s PayPal account once verification is complete. If the winner does not contact PayPal within 4 (four) weeks of notification, or does not hold a valid PayPal account in good standing at the time of the claim, the prize will be forfeited. The prize consists of €10,000 (ten thousand Euro) awarded to the winner's PayPal account as electronic money in accordance with the PayPal User Agreement.  In the event that the winner forfeits the prize or is disqualified for any reason, Uber reserves the right to select an alternative winner by random draw from the remaining eligible entries.

The winner is solely responsible for any taxes, duties or other liabilities that may arise in connection with the receipt or use of the prize. Neither Uber nor PayPal provides tax advice and we recommend that the winner seeks independent advice if required.

Uber and PayPal reserve the right to exclude individuals from the sweepstake in the event of violations of the terms and conditions or suspected manipulation, abuse, or use of multiple accounts. Personal data collected in connection with the sweepstake will be processed by Uber for the purpose of administering the draw and notifying the winner. Where the winner contacts PayPal to claim the prize, the winner’s name and PayPal account email address will be provided to and processed by PayPal solely for the purpose of verifying the winner’s account and awarding the prize. PayPal User Agreement applies to the winner’s PayPal account and use of the prize.

Uber's decisions in all matters relating to the sweepstake are final and binding. No correspondence will be entered into.

These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of Germany. Any disputes arising in connection with the sweepstake shall be subject to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the German courts, without prejudice to any mandatory rights that participants may have under the laws of their country of residence. If any provision of these terms is found to be invalid, unlawful or unenforceable, that provision shall be deemed severed from the remaining terms, which shall continue in full force and effect.
In the event of any inconsistency between versions, the German version shall prevail.
