Driving at Geneva International Airport (GVA)

Airports can be complicated places, especially for drivers. But knowing the basics, and getting information in advance about your local airport, can help make sure you’re prepared for your first pickup or dropoff.

Airport regulations

  • Pick-up must be at car park P4 (arrivals level).
  • Passenger drop-off must take place at the reserved locations (at the departure level).

Procedure to obtain the access card

In order to obtain the access card, drivers must complete this form.

The driver must also provide:

  • Copy of identity card
  • Copy of professional driver card (or authorization to operate issued by the competent authority for other cantons)
  • Copy of B121 license Copy of vehicle registration document

Finally, you must return these documents to the subscription counter at the Genève Aéroport car park control center.

Staging information

When driver-partners are online and enter the Uber zone, they are automatically entered into an electronic queue:

  • ELECTRONIC QUEUE : first come, first served. Races are given in order of finish.
  • POSITION IN THE QUEUE : The position in the waiting list progresses regardless of location in the Uber zone. Your approximate location is given to you

Where to drop off passengers

Customers must be dropped off in the reserved blue zone. This is located at the departure level between exits 3 and 4

Where to pick up passengers

Customers must be picked up in the red zone reserved for VTC. This is car park P4 which is located at the arrivals level.
