About the Role



What You’ll Need

Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Computer Science, Management Information Systems or related field.


In addition:

  • Analytical skills and experience in using data analytics software such as Tableau
  • 5+ years minimum experience in managing the implementation of complex systems for risk and compliance.
  • Good understanding of risk and compliance frameworks
  • Proven ability in managing complex GRC process and software implementations
  • Experience with implementing regulatory change management GRC modules
  • Experience with global scale phased GRC implementation, from Proof of Concept to Enterprise-wide go-live
  • Expertise working with commercially available GRC solutions
  • Willingness to work hands-on to implement a GRC solution
  • Expert project management skills – planning, status reporting, issues resolution, risk mitigation
  • Highly effective communication with all levels or the organization including senior and executive management
  • Ability to deliver high-quality deliverables including business requirements documents, design documents, test cases, and end user training guides.
  • Strong organizational, interpersonal and presentation skills
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to multi-task and handle multiple projects at the same time
  • Team-oriented with experience working with diverse team
  • Exceptional problem solving, critical thinking, and analytical skills
  • Willingness to travel approximately 10% annually
What You’ll Do
  • Work on a complex and interesting implementation project for a risk and compliance software system.
  • Create high-quality deliverables including business requirements documents, design documents, test cases, and end user training guide in addition to managing the build and design of the global compliance software platform.


Specific asks of the role include, but are not limited to:


  • Support the implementation and maintenance of a software solution for regulatory tracking, testing and reporting for global Compliance Management, by ensuring solutions provide for proper data warehousing, ease of data retrieval, and accuracy of reporting for internal and regulatory requirements.
  • Assist in training local market compliance teams on use of the software solution for their compliance programs, providing consideration and guidance on aggregating compliance management at the global level
  • Design and build dashboards, tools and reports to create analytics for global and local compliance management.
  • Use data analytics tools to ensure that compliance, risk, and control activities are managed.
  • Collaborate with other functions at Uber that have responsibilities for verifying compliance, and incorporate or manage changes necessary to ensure technology solutions are meeting stakeholder needs

About the Team

We are looking for a professional with in-depth experience in implementing of software platforms for risk and compliance such as RSA Archer, Metric Stream, BWise, Wolters Kluwer, who will manage and provide subject matter expertise in the implementation of such software platforms for Global Compliance at Uber.  This individual would have a solid understanding of GRC processes and technology with demonstrated expertise and experience in regulatory compliance.
