Group Product Manager - Customer Identity Platform

About the Role

 

You immerse yourself in all aspects of security and know how to protect you customers while at the same time reducing any of the friction that comes with that security. You are a subject matter expert, who brings organization to everything you do and are excited about bringing the world's best minds together to solve crazy hard problems that have never been solved before.

What You’ll Do

 

  • Look holistically at how customers establish, verify and manage their identities across all of Uber’s product lines, including Uber Eats restaurants and 3rd party partnerships such as Lime.
  • Drive a talented team to build, maintain, manage a consistent signup, login and account management experiences across all of our mobile and web applications.
  • Drive back-end account security and manage risk while minimizing customer friction and creating magical experiences.
  • Develop a unified roadmap, set team vision, and measure the most important technical and business indicators.
  • Help talented engineers develop toward their goals and sculpt a team culture of feedback and transparency.

 

What You’ll Need

 

  • 5-7 years of software delivery product management experience and managing teams through technology implementations.
  • Proven experience of delivering results in high pressure environments using standard product management techniques and disciplines.
  • Strong aptitude to adapt and evolve methodologies and procedures to

 

  • continually react to a changing landscape of threats and opportunities.
  • Ability to juggle multiple projects simultaneously and work across a large organization to ship cross functional projects.
  • Team oriented and comfortable interfacing with all level of Uber employees, management, executives.

 

Bonus Points If

 

  • Strong security background
  • Experience building consumer facing features.
  • Understanding of ML based risk modeling
