What You’ll Do
Manage all headcount for tech in a systematic manner and perform resource planning and allocation
Facilitate headcount related communications with tech staff and functional teams such as recruiting and finance
Build and implement processes to keep track of how resources are tracked, managed, changed, etc.
Perform variance analysis against effective resource management
Collaborate with cross-functional teams across disciplines such as product, engineering, operations, marketing, finance, and strategy
Champion effective decision making culture within the Tech organization to foster accountability and rigorous decision-making
Monitors and records headcount tracking and changes
Collaborate with leadership to drive strategic planning
Align functions on shared vision, OKRs, KPIs, metrics, etc.
Partner with the leadership and their extended teams to drive the communication and execution within the organization.
Lead short-term deep dives and cross-functional project teams to structure and execute analyses needed to develop recommendations. Lead critical projects based on emergent business needs.
Run core operations/business cadence.
Establish and lead operating processes and tools for effectively managing the cross-functional initiatives
What You’ll Need
2-4 years of experience in ops, project management, or
BA/BS/MS or other quantitative field (advanced degrees are a plus)
Ability to deliver on tight timelines and move quickly while maintaining attention to detail
Appetite to work closely with cross-functional teams to execute on decisions
Comfort with ambiguity and the ability to work in a self-guided manner
Executive presence to regularly interface with leadership
Superb communication and organization skills
Familiarity working with or on product teams is a plus
Strong organizational skills
Be hands-on, data-driven, and attentive to detail
Ability to navigate through networks and create relationships with leadership and teams alike
About the Team
The Product Strategy team plays a pivotal role in the Tech (Product + Engineering) organization by partnering with leadership on deliverables related to strategy, planning, collaboration, accountability, and more. The team consists of representatives from product management, analytics, and operations. How tech tracks and manages resources is critical part of our roadmap and success.
