About the Role
Uber Eats is looking for a Head of Grocery Product. This role will define, build the organization and globally scale a brand new product offering which will fundamentally evolve how people purchase their groceries.
What You’ll Do
Formulate our business, product and go-to-market strategy for grocery
Creatively experiment and quickly iterate on early tests
Build a cross-functional organization to operate as an autonomous group moving at a fast-paced, startup environment
Customize and scale this offering across the world
Develops strategic partnerships with retailers, brands, suppliers
What You’ll Need
A minimum of 10 years proven experience delivering successful and innovative customer-facing products with your fingerprints all over them
Leadership. You have managed large product teams as well as multiple cross-functions such as design, engineering or operations
Entrepreneurial. You have built new products from scratch and grown them to global scale
Business judgement. You have had accountability owning and optimizing a P&L
Marketplace experience. You have built multi-sided marketplaces where you have created product for multiple sides of the marketplace as well as the systems to manage marketplace dynamics
“Driver” mindset. You are biased toward action, a great collaborator, a master disambiguator/simplifier, and constantly pushing toward clarity and delivery
Grittiness. You never hesitate to roll up your sleeves and tackle something hands-on
Experimental. You have a creative mindset that enjoys experimentation and is willing to take bold bets despite risk of failure
Foodie. You are passionate about food and evolving how the world eats
About the Team
This is a newly formed team whose focus is developing a new business segment within the Uber portfolio. The team will be based in Toronto, Canada.
