We are currently searching for a Programs and Policies Manager within the Ethics & Compliance group to enhance the company’s policy management program. The position is based in San Francisco. 

 

 

What you'll do

  • Establish structure and process to align risks and remediation priorities with policies and processes
  • Coordinate across compliance and legal teams to establish processes to implement enacted policies
  • Harmonize policy content across company to maximize employee comprehension 
  • Create inventory of policies with version control tracking, update schedules, and publishing logs
  • Formulate framework for central repository of policies and automation plan
  • Collaborate across teams to publicize policies in accessible and centralized portal 
  • Manage employee education of policies within training modules

What you'll need

  • A minimum of 8 years of experience between private practice, and/or in-house role. Technology and international experience preferred
  • Experience with policy creation and management within a corporate Legal or Compliance department 
  • Excellent analytical and project management skills, mature discernment, and innovative thinking
  • Adaptable and resilient person with the demonstrated ability to make decisions and impact, persuade and build consensus
  • Demonstrated effectiveness operating in complex organizational environments and self-starter qualities
  • Passionate about Uber!
