About the Role
The Director of Strategy and Planning will develop and lead strategy, organization-wide planning for the trust and security organization, and report directly to the Chief Trust & Security Officer.
What You’ll Do
Work with team leadership to set the trust and security strategy and align teams to execute this mission successfully.
Identify trends and growth opportunities for the security organization to leverage their position to support Uber and engage with the broader security community.
Work with leadership to ensure operational efficiency, productivity, and collaboration across the organization.
Collaborate with HR, Policy and Communications, as well as other key stakeholders across the business to develop strategies and execute tasks relating the Uber trust and security mission.
What You’ll Need
10+ years of management consulting / business intelligence / strategy / investment banking / security or related experience; some operations experience is highly preferred.
Unquestioned integrity with assertiveness, presence, and confidence. Excellent influencing skills at all levels in the organization, acute flexibility in a dynamic, ever changing environment. Competence in making timely, effective, principles-based decisions.
Tenacity and ability to build from scratch are essential.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills; you are an articulate and persuasive communicator with excellent presentation skills; analytical and problem solving abilities.
