About the Role
As a Product Manager on the Automation Platform team. Today workflow automation is at the heart of Uber. Our tools and systems need automation more than ever. We are are at a stage where we are consolidating automation under a unified platform to enhance our overall business processes. This has one of the biggest impacts on Uber as a business enabling our teams to be more effective on how they run their business workflows at Uber.
What You’ll Do
Understand the problem, realize the impact and build a strong product roadmap
Build objectives for the team and measure their effectiveness by setting their KPIs
Write requirements and implement changes to streamline various sub-systems across our automation platform
Build strong connections with your internal customers to understand their needs to inform the roadmap. Capture these opportunities in user stories, business requirements
Drive execution working closely with operations, data science, analytics, engineering, to ensure a robust operational tools framework.
Customer-centricity - you have many examples from your past of tough product issues that you persevered through to ensure customer satisfaction.
Continually measure progress and solicit critical feedback to ensure maximum impact and learning
What You’ll Need
At least four years of experience driving delivery of support platform-oriented products
Technical proficiency: understanding of data modeling, data infrastructure, workflows between internal systems. We don’t need you to code, but you should be able to understand it and be able to communicate what’s needed to our engineering team.
Excellent understanding of integration, web application and data technical domains, experience working with enterprise products, internal operations, and vendors
Good business sense - you can see how impacting one lever in a complex system affects many others.
Demonstrated passion for operations platforms
Organized and structured approach to managing project ambiguity, complexity, and interdependencies across systems/teams.
