As a Product Marketing Manager on Uber’s Money Hub team, you’ll help shape and grow payments products that are used daily by millions of Uber’s customers around the world.

 

From launching new ways for customers to pay on the Uber platform, like using Venmo, to building a solution for driver-partners to get their money quicker via Instant Pay and Flex Pay, to building the cash payment experience globally, the Money Hub team takes on Uber’s biggest financial technology challenges every day.

 

You’ll also work as a key player on a product team laying the foundation for a suite of new payments experiences that will change the way people think about paying and getting paid across the 75+ countries in which we operate, bringing real value to our customers and the business.

 

The role demands technical depth, principled thinking, well-honed product instincts, a stubborn refusal to settle, true innovation, and a high quality bar for what goes out to the world.

What You'll Do 

  • Help to shape the Money Hub team’s roadmap, developing the positioning for new products, building go-to-market strategies, and owning the success for all Money Hub products and features.
  • Work with your team to drive highly impactful programs to engage customers through Uber’s own financial products. You will partner with a high-performing cross-functional team that includes counterparts in Product Management, Marketing, Product Design, Data Science, Engineering, Research, and Operations to meet shared objectives and key results.

 

What You'll Need

 

  • 5+ years combined product and growth marketing experience delivering highly successful user acquisition and engagement strategies, with a focus on consumer marketing.
  • Finger-tippiness with data: You just go get the data you need and can whip it into an insightful story with no help. You know how to leverage data to make decisions and drive growth. You have experience running rigorous multivariate testing and experimentation.
  • Top-notch at market research: You’re a truth-seeking missile. You know your market, customers, and competition better than anyone, and you integrate this information into your growth strategies.
  • Master storyteller: You can craft a compelling narrative across different channels - you know how to match the message to the medium.
  • A “builder” personality: You’re biased toward action, a great collaborator and master disambiguator/simplifier. You never stop pushing towards clarity and delivery.
  • Scary-good at articulating the essence of products and the value they create. You can develop a strong messaging hierarchy and effective content strategy. You shine at copywriting.
  • Grittiness: You never hesitate to roll up your sleeves and tackle something hands-on, you persevere when others fall away.
  • True passion for Uber’s mission and the company’s hybrid technology / operations nature.
