About the Role
The Web team is a multi-functional team responsible for the customer experience for riders and drivers, and more. We collaborate with almost every business and product group at Uber, partnering to acquire new riders and drivers, and deepen our relationship with our existing customers. We are global -- our research, UX, design and development processes and work for every region. We are looking for a Product Manager to identify and drive growth opportunities for our business -- leading the strategy and vision for multivariate testing, segmentation and targeting, and driving step-function change and launches to attract and convert and grow our customer base.
What You’ll Do
Internalize and deeply understand Uber’s mission and strategies, as well as the mission and objectives of the Uber web team.
Drive a product roadmap that identifies areas of growth for riders, drivers and more, working with cross functional and cross product teams to drive to execution and analysis.
Lead the definition and execution of scalable data-focused solutions to support successful optimizations.
Define and communicate product plan from conception to launch.
Contribute to technical conversations around deadlines and engineering solutions.
Understand the requirements and needs of Uber’s markets to ensure successful global deployment of new features and projects.
Identify partnerships and align across the organization with Product and Engineering teams on gap analysis and needs for integrated data, platform, advertising technology, or personalization engineering investment and development.
Partner with Uber internal stakeholders across Site Management, Design, UX, Global and Engineering teams.
What You’ll Need
A passion to apply technology and data to change how humanity moves
5+ years of relevant experience in product management
Strong customer empathy, with an ability to transform complex data and customer insights into a prioritized roadmap
Technical expertise and the ability to question, understand, and challenge software implementation decisions and priorities.
Experience partnering with cross-functional teams of engineers, data scientists, and designers to deliver extraordinary products
Exceptional communication skills, both within your team and with leadership and stakeholders
Academic background in computer science or engineering
