Uber is a game-changing company that allows riders to make on-demand pre-bookings via the Uber app with a touch of their smartphone for quality transportation services provided by partner drivers. We are in over 400 + cities worldwide, including in over 70 cities in over 45 countries in Europe, Middle East and Africa.  

We are currently searching for an Associate Counsel to join our busy London team. Reporting to the Legal Director - Commercial, you will be based at Uber’s London office.

WHAT YOU'LL DO
Work closely with the legal team on a range of issues including commercial, product and corporate matters;
Be an active partner, and ensure the provision of timely business-focused advice,  to a variety of business areas including marketing, cities and business development;
Work on commercial contracts such as promotional agreements, sponsorships, partnerships as well as general procurement and marketing and advertising initiatives;
Assist with corporate and company secretarial matters;
Provide strategic and proactive legal advice to internal business groups. It’s our job to peer round corners for the business and ensure that we are well positioned for the future;
Work hard but have a lot of fun doing it!

WHAT YOU NEED
UK Qualified;

At least 1 year post-qualification experience at a top-notch law firm;
Strong academic credentials and law degree from a top law school or university;
Excellent business judgment, communication and interpersonal skills;
To be able to think on your feet and make quick decisions;
Thrive in high impact/high profile situations;
