About the Role

The Product Operations team drives product impact at scale by connecting product, engineering, and operations. This role supports Uber’s Delivery Pricing team, helping to shape the pricing experience across customers, couriers, and merchants.

As a key partner, you'll collaborate cross-functionally to surface needs, support testing, streamline global rollouts, and ensure feedback loops are tight and actionable. You'll turn strategy into execution, helping ensure pricing products are effective, well-adopted, and optimized for marketplace outcomes.

What the Candidate Will Do:

  • Operationalize Product Strategy: Partner closely with product managers, engineers, and designers to translate strategic objectives into scalable operational processes.
  • Drive alignment across teams by managing key planning and goal-setting cadences (e.g., OKRs, quarterly roadmaps).
  • Own Product Processes: Build and maintain efficient processes for product feedback intake, triage, prioritization, and communication. Improve workflows around product development and launch processes.
  • Drive Cross-Functional Execution: Lead cross-functional initiatives that span product, engineering, marketing, support, and legal to ensure seamless feature rollout and adoption. Ensure stakeholders are informed and aligned through consistent status updates, documentation, and reporting.
  • Enable Data-Driven Decision-Making: Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and other tools to track product metrics, usage trends, and operational KPIs. Analyze product data and user feedback to identify improvement opportunities and inform prioritization.
  • Manage Product Rollouts: Lead change management efforts related to product launches, new tooling, and process changes. Identify bottlenecks or inefficiencies in current processes and implement scalable solutions.
  • Drive Product Communication: Serve as the point of contact for internal stakeholders regarding product updates, roadmaps, and timelines.
  • Craft clear communications about product decisions, upcoming changes, and user-facing impacts.
  • Champion the Voice of the Customer: Collaborate with support, sales, and UX research teams to capture customer feedback and advocate for user needs in product decisions.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Undergraduate degree
  • Preferred Masters degree
  • At least 6+ years of relevant job experience
  • Experience working in or closely with product or engineering teams in a tech environment

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Operational Excellence: Proven ability to scale product operations, define processes, and improve efficiency.
  • Data Analysis: Strong skills in SQL, Excel, and/or data visualization tools (e.g., Looker, Tableau). Ability to derive insights from data to influence product decisions.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Ability to work effectively across engineering, product, design, marketing, and customer support teams.
  • Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to simplify complex concepts for diverse audiences.
  • Program/Project Management: Experience leading initiatives end-to-end with clear planning, tracking, and execution.
  • Process Design: Skilled at building or improving workflows for product feedback, feature launches, or customer issues triage.
  • Product Understanding: Deep understanding of product development cycles, agile/scrum methodologies, and product lifecycle.

For New York, NY-based roles: The base salary range for this role is USD$167,000 per year - USD$186,000 per year.

For San Francisco, CA-based roles: The base salary range for this role is USD$167,000 per year - USD$186,000 per year.
