Referring people you know to drive with Uber is a great way to make extra money when you’re off the road.
How referrals work
1. Invite
Invite great drivers like you to sign up for Uber by sharing your referral code or sending an invite. You can find your referral code on your Partner Dashboard or in the Driver App.
2. Track
Track the progress of your invitees by going to your Partner Dashboard. We’ll also follow up via email to keep you posted on their status.
3. Earn
Earn a reward once your invitee completes a certain number of trips. The required number of trips and referral reward amount vary by city. You can find referral details for each invitee on your Partner Dashboard once they sign up.

On mobile
Use your Driver App to send referral invites directly from your contact list. Send a personalized text message or trigger an invite email in seconds.
Check it out
From your desktop
Use your Partner Dashboard to share your referral signup link on social media, or send invites to any email or phone number, but make sure you have your friend’s consent to do so.

Spread the word on social media
Reach your entire network in seconds by sharing your referral code on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram. Social media is a great way to get the word out to friends and followers who may be interested in driving with Uber.
Get a status check
Track the status of your invites on your Partner Dashboard. Once someone signs up with your code or link, you can check their status and send helpful reminders if they seem stuck. Your tips go a long way!
