Safety and respect for all
Uber's Community Guidelines
The Uber Community Guideline was created to help make every experience on the app positive, safe, and respectful for everyone.
It must be followed by everyone who registers for an Uber account, including users, drivers, delivery partners, establishments, and businesses.
Our community is widely diverse, and you will likely encounter people who are different from you or who hold beliefs that differ from yours. The Community Code guidelines help promote positive interactions across all experiences.
Our team works hard to help create safer experiences for everyone. Your safety is our priority. That's why we wrote this code.
We are committed to complying with all applicable laws, and we expect everyone in the Uber community to do their part and comply with relevant laws and regulations
The power of your choices
Millions of people have great experiences with Uber every day. These positive interactions help define who we are. Thank you for choosing to help make Uber a safe and welcoming community.
Your feedback is very valuable
If something happens, whether good or bad, we provide easy ways for you to leave feedback directly in the app or contact Uber's support team. We are constantly working to improve our standards and policies, so your feedback is important in helping us take the necessary steps to keep our standards relevant as our technology evolves.
If you want to report an incident, visit help.uber.com or contact us through the app. If you find yourself in immediate danger, alert your local authorities or emergency services before notifying Uber.
The mutual rating system helps increase accountability and create a respectful, safe, and transparent environment for everyone. Ratings are displayed as averages, and neither users nor partners can see the rating for a specific trip. Users and partners who do not meet the minimum rating average in Brazil may lose access to the Uber platform. We will notify you if your rating is approaching this threshold and may share information so you can improve it.
Uber reviews all reports submitted to our support team that may violate our Community Guidelines, and we may investigate through a specialized team. Your account may be turned inactive until our review is complete and whenever there are indications of potential violations of our Community Guidelines. You may lose access to your Uber accounts if you do not follow any of the guidelines.

You may lose access to the Uber platform if you do not comply with the Uber Community Guidelines. This may include certain acts that you may engage in outside of the platform, including, without limitation, acts that may be committed on other platforms, if we determine that such acts threaten the safety of the Uber community, our employees, and service providers, or damage Uber's brand, reputation, or business.
