We’re continuing to recognize standout driver-partners in Seattle who help keep this great city moving. On May 4, our latest All Star Driver, Craig, enjoyed the ultimate Mariners game day experience with his cousins Dave and Paul, and his best friend of 42 years, Doug. Their experience included a meet and greet with Seattle Mariners’ outfielder Boog Powell, a behind-the-scenes tour of Safeco Field, Mariners merchandise, and more.
Craig was selected because of his amazing attitude and the joy he brings to riders and everyone else he meets.
Get to know Craig
Craig experienced the magic of Seattle during his first trip up the Space Needle in 1965 and he’s lived in the area for nearly 50 years.
Never one to blend in with the crowd, Craig turns heads daily with his tie-dye shirt collection and unique license plate. The plate reads “UBRLGND,” a combination of 2 things he loves: Uber and urban legends like Bigfoot. What does he love most about Uber? The flexibility it gives him to make time for refereeing basketball in the winter months and being a softball umpire through the summer.
While out on the road, Craig is always trying to make his riders laugh—and they have a lot of great things to say about him. Below are just a few examples:
“This guy…I want to leave 10 stars. Actual stars from space. Made of awesome.” – Kenneth
“Awesome guy. Smooth ride. And he rocks tie-dye like it’s nobody’s business. Definitely would ride with him again.” – Jonathan
“Super friendly and has the best license plate ever! Definitely recommend.” – Eric
