The Seattle Peer Advisor Program was started so driver-partners could share experiences and help their fellow driver-partners stay connected, increase their ratings, and become more successful on the Uber platform.
On October 13, Seattle Peer Advisors had the chance to sit down with Uber’s new CEO, Dara Khosrowshahi, to discuss their opinions on uberPOOL, going green, earnings, unionization, and more. As a local resident, he made sure to let drivers know that he is invested in Seattle—and the greater Northwest community.
“I will stand with drivers”
While there are numerous ways to transform cities and modernize how we think about transportation, Dara is focused first on making Uber a great company for drivers and riders. The Peer Advisors didn’t hold back their thoughts on the current state of products, such as uberPOOL, or how Uber communicates changes with drivers. Dara was candid in his answers and gained valuable insights from the group. He looks forward to applying the feedback to improving the experience for those who want to drive with Uber.
For one of our Peer Advisors, James L., having a chance to talk with the CEO of Uber about what’s important to driver-partners was a great experience.
“I did feel, for me personally, he was in touch with what was going on. It didn’t seem like he was distanced and that to me was important.”
