In honor of Women’s History Month, we celebrated the incredible women in the driver community with an afternoon of food, art and sharing stories. Three Bay Area artists (who also drive!) showcased their art at the event located at the Uber Greenlight Hub in Oakland. Want to learn more about their artwork? Read on.

Reshawn:

Artist based in Oakland creating work primarily based around black women. She currently has installations at Women’s Cancer Resource Center, Rosenblum Cellars, and at Somarts. Aside from being a driver, she’s a healer, priestess, jewelry designer, domestic violence advocate, graphic designer and full-time mom.

Colleen:

After careers in consulting, teaching, and non-profits, Colleen now devotes 100% of her time to painting. At the community event she showcased her coastal landscapes.

Yamini:

Author who has written a book sold on Amazon titled The Natural Goddess in which she shows photographs of women over 40 to empower them to feel confident. She is currently also working on a book about her experiences driving with Uber. She brought signed copies of her Natural Goddess book to the event.
