Uber Hong Kong (Rides) – Marketing Executive, Brand and Social (Contract)

We are a global mobility and logistics technology platform: our flagship service allows users to request quality, on-demand rides with a touch of their smartphone and we are rapidly developing new products. We are present in over 450+ cities worldwide, including over 50+ cities in APAC with plans to rapidly expand in the region.
The Marketing Executive role is a unique opportunity to help grow our business in Hong Kong. You will be the one to execute initiatives that span the rides experience, brand, social and content, campaigns and to cultivate the Uber brand and build brand love for the service. This role calls for a combination of marketing, social and content marketing, and analytics. This person should be passionate about technology, comfortable in an “all hands on deck” environment, love solving problems, and above all, thrive in a startup culture.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
You’ll be tasked with growing brand awareness in Hong Kong and marketing Uber in the most efficient and engaging way possible. You will be expected to:
- Planning, developing and implementing integrated marketing campaigns and undertaking detailed ongoing analysis to ensure targets are met
- Work closely with the rest of the marketing team to be on top of key metrics for your territories and make sure priorities are in order
- Help define and execute a social media strategy for Uber social media page, and share feedback and insights gained from social media monitoring to help evolve business strategies in a timely fashion
- Perform social media engagement activities (crafting, posting, and tracking posts across various social media platforms, e.g. Facebook, Instagram) as directed in support of social marketing initiatives
- Continuously improve social media strategy by capturing and analyzing the appropriate social data/metrics
WHAT YOU’LL NEED
- 1-2 years experience in marketing, advertising, public relations or business development
- A Bachelor’s Degree in Communications, Marketing or Advertising is a plus, but not required
- Excellent spoken and written communication skill in English and Cantonese
- Ability to multi-task multiple projects. Detail oriented with proven ability to work collaboratively with internal and external teams
- Track record of managing successful integrated marketing campaigns from inception to completion
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills

COMPENSATION
- Full-time salary negotiable based on experience
