Over the weekend, legislation passed that will allow Uber to operate across New York State beginning as soon as early July. The wait is (almost) over!

This bill wouldn’t have been possible without Governor Cuomo and the New York State Legislature, who worked tirelessly on a compromise that will bring more transportation options to the Empire State this summer. We’re also grateful to the tens of thousands of New Yorkers who made their voices heard about the need for reliable, affordable transportation options in their communities.

We can’t wait to bring Uber to the entire Empire State — from Buffalo to Bridgehampton, and everywhere in between. We’ll soon let you know when you’re able to take your first trip!

Already have an Uber rider account? Sit tight until early July and then get ready to ride.
