Uber and Robin Hood partner to give away Hamilton tickets

September 18, 2016 / New York City

We’re partnering with Robin Hood—New York City’s largest poverty-fighting organization—to give Uber riders the chance to win a pair of tickets to see Tony Award-winning Hamilton.

Robin Hood focuses on finding, funding, and creating programs that generate meaningful results for families in New York’s poorest neighborhoods. When you donate to Robin Hood, 100% of your donation goes to its poverty-fighting programs. All administrative costs are underwritten by its board of directors.

On Monday, September 19, from 11 am to 1 pm, users can request to receive a pair of tickets to see that night’s 8 pm show at Richard Rodgers theater.

How it works

  1. Open your app and enter the code HAMILTON16 in the PROMOTIONS tab
  2. Request the HAMILTON option in the app on Monday, September 19, between 11am–1pm
  3. If you’re connected, a car will arrive with a voucher for a pair of Hamilton tickets for Monday night’s show at Richard Rodgers Theatre, plus a few extra surprises

Robin Hood’s mission is one that resonates with us. We’re passionate about cities, and by fighting poverty here in New York City—our home—Robin Hood improves the quality of life across all 5 boroughs.

Many individuals benefit from the efforts of this impactful organization, and we’re humbled by the opportunity to help share Robin Hood’s mission.

Disclaimer: Supplies will be available for a limited time and are fulfilled on a first come, first served basis. Not all requests for tickets will be fulfilled.
